Sasha Lane To Star In Marvel’s Loki Disney+ Series
New details on the upcoming Marvel Studios Loki series for Disney+ has recently been revealed. In an interview with Golden Globes, Utopia, actress Sasha Lane was confirmed that she will appear in the new Loki series.
In an opening statement for the interview, it says:
Lane made her film debut in the award-winning movie, American Honey (2016), starring opposite Shia LaBeouf and Riley Keough, after being spotted on a Miami beach by the film’s director, Andrea Arnold. She followed up with roles in Hearts Beat Loud, opposite Nick Offerman, and The Miseducation of Cameron Post, Hellboy, and will next appear in the superhero series, Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston.
And when asked if she was a comic book fan, she confirmed:
To be honest, it’s never really sparked me. I found a couple of graphic novels that were true crime murder mysteries and that was kind of cool, but I’ve never really had that kind of interest in them, though this one is obviously good (laughs).
The new Loki series is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, which saw Loki escape with the Tesseract after the Avengers went back in time, resulting in a new timeline being created, where the events of Thor: Ragnarok and Infinity War haven’t happened.
Joining Tom Hiddleston on the show is Sophia Di Martino, along with Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Cailey Fleming, and Richard E. Grant.
Loki is due to arrive on Disney+ in spring 2021, though obviously with the current Coronavirus situation, things could be delayed further.
Are you looking forward to Loki?
