20th Century Studios is developing a new heist thriller film called “Eenie Meanie”, which is similar to “Baby Driver” and it follows a former teenage getaway driver who is dragged back into her unsavoury past when a former employer offers her a chance to save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend.

According to Deadline, Samara Weaving has signed on to star in the film.  Samara has previously starred in the Searchlight films “Chevalier” and “Ready Or Not”, plus the Hulu Original series, “Nine Perfect Strangers”.

“Eenie Meanie” will be directed by Shawn Simmons, who also wrote the script with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick producing.   Shawn Simmons has previously worked on “Man Up”, “Kirby Buckets” and the upcoming John Wick spinoff series “The Continental: The World Of John Wick”.

The film is currently scheduled to be released on Disney’s streaming services including Hulu, rather than getting a theatrical release, though this could still change.
