Ruaridh Mollica To Star In Marvel’s “Vision” Disney+ Series
The cast for the upcoming new Marvel Studios series for Disney+ featuring Vision, which is going to be a new spin-off from “WandaVision”.
In the upcoming series, Paul Bettany will reprise his role of Vision, who was last seen in the “WandaVision” series, which saw the Scarlet Witch bring Vision back to life using her magic after Thanos killed him after ripping the Mind stone from his forehead in “Avengers: Infinity War”. The character has also previously appeared in “Captain America: Civil War”, and the “Avengers” movies, “Age Of Ultron”, “Infinity War” and “Endgame”.
Marvel hasn’t revealed any plot details for the upcoming “Vision” series, but it’s expected that the story will pick up from the events of “WandaVision,” where SWORD had built a white version of Vision from Vision’s dead body but didn’t have any of Vision’s memories. But when the two versions of Vision come together, “White Vision’s” memory is restored, resulting in him flying off, and we’ve not seen him since.
Deadline has revealed that Ruaridh Mollica has joined the cast of the upcoming series and will play the role of Tucker. Ruaridh has previously starred in “Ridley,” “Sexy Beast,” and “Witness Number 3.” He will also star in the upcoming Disney+ Original series, “A Thousand Blows.”
The upcoming show will also see James Spader return as Ultron, an AI created by Tony Stark as a defence program but who turned against humanity in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Faran Tahir will return as Raza, the leader of the terrorist organization The 10 Rings, and Todd Stashwick will also star, though no character details have been revealed.
It’s also expected that Agatha and Wiccan will return to the upcoming series, following the events of the “Agatha All Along” series.
Marvel hasn’t officially announced any more details on this series, such as what it’s going to be called or what it will be about. Hopefully, production on the show starts soon, so it can arrive on Disney+ soon, but it’s probably still a couple of years away.
Roger’s Take: Could Ruaridh be playing the role of Tommy, aka Wiccan’s brother, who will ultimately go on to become Speed?
