Disney has released a teaser video revealing that it is going to bring Marvel’s “Rogers: The Musical” to Disneyland Resorts California Adventure theme park for a limited run this summer at the Hyperion Stage.

The one-act play originally debuted in the first episode of the Marvel Studios’s “Hawkeye” Disney+ Series, and in the final episode, the entire show is available as a mid-credit bonus. It has also used an Easter Egg in both “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

The fictitious musical all about the life of Steve Rogers, the first Captain America, first debuted in the Disney+ original series, “Hawkeye”. In the show, all the Avengers are invited to New York for the premiere of the brand new, showstopping musical but only Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, shows up. The MIA Avengers don’t know what they’re missing, though, as viewers are treated to a musical number based on The Battle of New York from the original “Avengers” film…though a few creative liberties have been taken here and there.    The show includes Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, along with Loki as the main villain.

The video teaser shows Agent Carter, holding up a Playbill magazine with “Rogers: The Musical” on the cover, and then she walks towards the Hyperion Stage, which has the letter R flashing. With the caption:

A timeless story of a timeless hero! 🇺🇸 💫 A short one-act musical is coming for a limited time this summer to Disney California Adventure Park! Stay tuned for more details🤩

No exact details have been announced by Disney, such as when the show will be available for visitors to watch or for how long it will be available.

This won’t be the first time “Rogers: The Musical” has hit the stage, as back at the Studios Showcase panel at last year’s D23 Expo, there was a performance of the play, which was certainly a lot of fun and kicked the show off in an interesting fashion, with Kevin Feige saying that he wanted to beat the Disney Channel, who always have a big musical number during their presentation.

While we wait for “Rogers: The Musical” to arrive at Disney California Adventure, you can check out the original in “Hawkeye”, which can be streamed now on Disney+.
