Last year at the D23 Expo, Disney announced it would be bringing Marvel’s “Rogers: The Musical” to Disney’s California Adventure theme park for a limited run this summer at the Hyperion Stage.

The one-act play originally debuted in the first episode of the Marvel Studios’s “Hawkeye” Disney+ Series, and in the final episode, the entire performance of “Save the City,” was shown as a mid-credit bonus. It has also used an Easter Egg in both “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

Disney has announced some more details on “Rogers: The Musical”, which will burst onto the stage for a limited-time engagement beginning June 30th, 2023.

This production features a talented cast of singers and dancers telling the story of Steve Rogers – Captain America – joined by Peggy Carter, Nick Fury and select members of the Avengers. The musical will take the audience on a journey from Steve’s humble beginnings during World War II to becoming Captain America, leading the Avengers and beyond. It’s a classic tale of heroes, time travel, and romance, oh … and Nick Fury sings!

The show will feature the song “Save the City,” from the Disney+ series “Hawkeye”; along with “Star Spangled Man” from the film “Captain America: The First Avenger”; plus, five new original songs, which have been written just for “Rogers: The Musical” at the Disneyland Resort.

“Rogers: The Musical” will run approximately 30 minutes, from Tuesday through Saturday most weeks. Additional details, including show dates and times, plus news about the merchandise and food and beverage offerings themed to “Rogers: The Musical” will be shared by Disney as opening day gets closer.

In the meantime, you can check out “Rogers: The Musical” in the post-credit scenes of “Hawkeye” on Disney+ now.
