Marvel Studios is slowly rebuilding the team for the upcoming third “Deadpool” film, which is going to see Ryan Reynolds return as the Merc with a Mouth, along with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic.  Also starring in the film will be “The Crown‘s” Emma Corrin and “Succession‘s” Matthew Macfadyen.

Deadline is reporting that Rob Delaney is also going to be returning for “Deadpool 3”, having previously starred as Peter, a member of the X-Force team without any superpowers.  Rob Delaney has previously starred in “Home Sweet Home Alone”, “The Power”, and “Catastrophe”.

Shawn Levy is going to be directing “Deadpool 3”, which is being written by Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will be a producer on the film, along with Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds.

“Deadpool 3” is scheduled to begin filming later this year and is due to be released first in cinemas on November 8th, 2024. It will be the first rated-R film from Marvel Studios. The first film was the top-grossing R-rated film ever. The first two “Deadpool” films, along with “Logan”, are available to stream now on Disney+.
