Disney has announced new details on the upcoming season of “Project Runway”, which is returning for its 21st season later this summer.

Heidi Klum returns as host, former winner Christian Siriano returns as mentor, Nina Garcia returns as judge, and fashion trailblazer Law Roach joins the panel as the newest judge. When “Project Runway” debuted in 2004, the series broke new ground and helped revolutionise the reality competition genre, making dreams for aspiring fashion designers come true.

Since then, “Project Runway” has aired in more than 125 countries and helped launch the careers of prolific designers, including Christian Siriano, Austin Scarlett, Leanne Marshall, Irina Shabayeva, Michael Costello and Bishme Cromartie, among many others.

The new season will feature the return of some previous “Project Runway” contestants, including Jesus Estrada from Season 7 and Caycee Black from Season 9. 

The other contestants include:

• Alex Foxworth
• Angelo Rosa
• Antonio Estrada
• Belania Daley
• Ethan Mundt 
• Joan Madison
• Joseph McRae
• Madeline Malenfant
• Veejay Floresca
• Yuchen Han

There will also be plenty of celebrity guest judges this year, including Christian Cowan, Harris Reed, Jenna Lyons, Joan Smalls, Michael Kors, Mickey Guyton, Nikki Glaser, Sara Foster, Sofia Vergara, Tyra Banks, and Zac Posen. 

“Project Runway” is produced by Spyglass Media Group and Alfred Street Industries. Gary Barber and Sean Hoagland serve as executive producers for Spyglass. Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, Michael Rucker and San Heng serve as executive producers for Alfred Street Industries. Klum, Siriano and Garcia also serve as executive producers.

The newly refreshed series will premiere on Thursday, 31st July 2025, with the first two episodes at 9:00 p.m. EDT on Freeform, and it will be available to stream shortly after on Hulu and Disney+. Subsequent episodes will air weekly starting at 10:00 p.m. EDT.   No international Disney+ release details have been announced yet.
