Today, the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards took place at The Royal Festival Hall in London, England and was hosted by David Tennant. The EE BAFTAs celebrate the very best in film of the past year.

Universal’s “Oppenheimer” won the most awards, picking up seven BAFTAs including Best Film; Director for Christopher Nolan; Leading Actor for Cillian Murphy; Supporting Actor for Robert Downey Jr.; Cinematography; Editing, and Original Score.

Disney’s Searchlight Pictures’ “Poor Things” won five awards, including Leading Actress for Emma Stone, Costume, Makeup & Hair, Production Design and Special Visual Effects.

“Poor Things” is currently showing in cinemas and will be coming soon to digital outlets and to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally

The BAFTA Fellowship was presented to actress and director Samantha Morton. The Fellowship is the highest accolade bestowed by BAFTA in recognition of an individual’s outstanding and exceptional contribution to film, television or games across their career. June Givanni was presented with the Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema award.
