Pixar Reveals “Ghost Market” Coming Soon
During Disney’s Entertainment Showcase, it was revealed that Pixar is officially diving into the supernatural with its very first ghost movie based on Asian myths about supernatural bazaars where the living and dead interact.
The new film is called “Ghost Market”, and it will be coming out in theatres in March 2028 and heading to Disney+ later in the year.
Pixar’s CCO Pete Docter revealed some details on the upcoming film:
“Kyle is a fast-talking teenager and content creator from Chicago. His life gets turned upside down when his mom forces him to go on vacation to Hawaii. He stumbles into a mysterious hidden market in the middle of nowhere. He realizes his hunt for a late-night snack has turned into something bigger. He’s discovered the crossroads of the living and the dead.”
