Searchlight Pictures is releasing a brand new film, “Not Okay” globally on Disney’s streaming services this August and the film centres on Danni Sanders (Zoe Deutch), an aimless aspiring writer who fakes an Instagram-friendly trip to Paris in the hopes of boosting her social media clout. When a terrifying incident strikes there, Danni unwittingly falls into a lie bigger than she ever imagined. She “returns” a hero, even striking up an unlikely friendship with Rowan (Isaac), a school-shooting survivor dedicated to societal change, and scooping up the man of her dreams Colin (Dylan O’Brien). It’s only a matter of time though before the façade cracks.
Composer Pierre-Philippe Côté has recently taken to Instagram to confirm that he has been working in New York composing the score to the film.
