Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States for the week of 24th April 2023 through 30th April 2023. There are four different charts, Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies and a combined total chart.

The third season of “The Mandalorian” remained in the top 10 for the Originals chart, though it dropped due to the series ending the week before.  Both “Encanto” and “Moana” continued to pull in audiences on Disney+ to keep the movies on Nielsen’s movie chart, while “Bluey” held onto one of the top spots in both the Acquired chart and overall chart as younger audiences kept watching this show on Disney+.

The debut of the new live-action version of “Peter Pan & Wendy” was a big hit for Disney+, pulling in enough minutes watched to become the second most popular film of the week.  It also continues to show the power of these live-action remakes, as much as people complain about them, lots of people watch them!

As per usual, many of the shows in the acquired charts include Disney’s ABC,  mega-hit  “Grey’s Anatomy.”  Which continues to pull in audiences on Hulu and Netflix in the US.  Internationally the show is available on Disney+.
