Olivia Colman & Brie Larson To Star In New FX Limited Series ‘Cry Wolf’

Disney’s FX has greenlit a brand new limited series called “Cry Wolf”, which is inspired by the Danish series “Ulven Kommer” by Maja Jul Larsen.

This new psychological family thriller follows a social worker and a mother (Larson) thrust into crisis when the mother’s teenage daughter alleges abuse, pushing both women to their limits as they navigate an impossible situation.

The show is going to star Olivia Colman, who will play the role of the social worker. Olivia has previously starred in the Disney+ series, “Secret Invasion” and “The Bear”. Also set to star in the show is Brie Larson, who will play the role of the mother, and she has previously worked on Marvel Studios ‘ “Captain Marvel”.

Both Olivia and Brie will be executive producers on the show, along with Sarah Treem, who will also be the showrunner on the project. South of the River’s Ed Sinclair and Bernstein will also be executive producers alongside Alena Smith, Maja Jul Larsen, Christian Rank and Claudia Saganario.

FX Productions is creating the show, and it has been in the works for a while. Once Brie Larson was brought aboard the project, it allowed FX to order the limited series.

No other details on the show, such as when it might be released, have been revealed, and as with other FX shows, we should expect to see it released on the FX linear channel, along with Hulu and Disney+.
