Disney has picked up two Golden Globes for its Searchlight Pictures film “Nomadland” including “Best Picture” and Chloé Zhao winning “Best Director”.

“Nomadland” is about a woman in her sixties who, after losing everything in the Great Recession, embarks on a journey through the American West, living as a van-dwelling modern-day nomad.

The film beat “Mank”, “The Father”, “Promising Young Woman” and “The Trial of the Chicago 7” for “Best Picture”.

“Nomadland” is available to watch now on Hulu in the United States and will be coming to Disney+ in Canada on April 9th.
