“No One Will Save You” Initial Reactions Revealed
This coming Friday, Disney is releasing a brand new original film from 20th Century Studios called, “No One Will Save You” on Disney’s streaming services, including Hulu in Latin America, Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ around the world. Selected critics have been able to see the film a little early at a special screening and have been sharing their initial reactions to the film on social media today.
The new film stars Kaitlyn Dever as Brynn, a creative and talented young woman who’s been alienated from her community. Lonely but ever hopeful, Brynn finds solace within the walls of the home where she grew up—until she’s awakened one night by strange noises from decidedly unearthly intruders. What follows is an action-packed face-off between Brynn and a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past.
“No One Will Save You” has been written and directed by Brian Duffield, the film features music by composer Joseph Trapanese. Tim White, Trevor White, Allan Mandelbaum and Duffield produce, and Dever and Joshua Throne executive produce.
Check out these critics initial thoughts on “No One Will Save You” below:
#NoOneWillSaveYou is a stellar sophomore effort from filmmaker Brian Duffield. The film takes the high concept of an alien home invasion and turns it into a more profound story about self-forgiveness and compassion. Kaitlyn Dever is sublime.

#NoOneWillSaveYou has little to no dialogue & is carried by the performance of @KaitlynDever, who is outstanding. She makes you feel like you’re side by side with her the whole time. The film feels like a Sundance film blended together w/ an alien invasion & haunted house movie. pic.twitter.com/9JnTfpLIas

#NoOneWillSaveYou isn’t just a phenomenal alien invasion movie, it’s one of the best movies of the year. Period. Endlessly suspenseful, thrilling, and meticulously crafted. Kaitlyn Dever has never been better. I will now always be excited for a @BrianDuffield movie. pic.twitter.com/9SggsM97aK

Also! #NoOneWillSaveYou totally rules. The less you know going in the better, but @BrianDuffield has crafted an elegant, satisfying, emotional and scary rollercoaster ride full of existential dread and extraterrestrial terror. Watch it this week and save round 2 for Halloween. 👽 pic.twitter.com/nw9DRJt0i5

I loved #NoOneWillSaveYou! Brian Duffield continues to be one of my favorite working creatives. Original and tense. I wish everyone could see it on the big screen.

.@BrianDuffield's #NoOneWillSaveYou marries The Twilight Zone and Nope to great effect. Kaitlyn Dever excels in a One-Woman War of the Worlds that is creative, atmospheric, immersive, and totally creepy. Audiences will be talking about it for years. pic.twitter.com/bkhjIRVdEd
