Earlier this month, Disney+ released a brand new Korean original series called “Nine Puzzles”, which tells the story of Yoon Ena, who becomes a profiler after discovering the body of her murdered uncle to uncover the truth behind what happened that night. A decade later, Detective Hansaem still suspects Ena was responsible, and when a series of murders begins to occur, each linked to a corresponding puzzle piece, Hansaem will follow his instincts to track down the killer.
Within nine days after its premiere, the show quickly became the most-watched Korean Original show globally and in Asia Pacific on Disney+ in 2025.
The show stars Son Sukku(“Big Bet”) as Detective Kim Hansaem, with Kim Dami (“Our Beloved Love”), Kim Sungkyun (“Moving”) and Hyun Bongsik. The series is directed by Yoon Jongbin (“Narco Saints”) and written by Lee Eunmi (“Tunnel”).
“Nine Puzzles” is the latest Korean original show to be added to the streaming platform, building on its impressive roster of titles, including “Big Bet”, “Moving”, “Unmasked”, and “Hyper Knife”.
