New Originals Coming To Disney+ In September 2024
This coming September, Disney is releasing some new original programming including a new Marvel Studios series plus new animated shorts featuring characters from your favourite Star Wars and Pixar films. There will also be brand new episodes of favourites like “Only Murders In The Building” and “Futurama”, plus many new original series.
Here’s the rundown:
Agatha All Along
Agatha Harkness finds herself powerless after breaking out of her containment in Westview, New Jersey and she looks to some unlikely allies to join her on her quest to regain her former powers.
The first two episodes will be released on Wednesday, 18th September 2024 at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET.
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy
The entire Star Wars Galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling (Gaten Matarazzo), unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple. He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wondrously wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together.
This all new original series arrives on Disney+ on Friday, 13th September 2024
Pixar’s Bricktoons
Join some of your favorite Pixar characters for adventures set in the world of LEGO! Sing along with Miguel in the Land of the Dead, help Merida and her brothers through a “beary” rocky situation, take an epic field trip with Nemo, Marlin, and Dory, watch the Parr family try to save their neighborhood from Syndrome, and join Mater as he prepares Lightning McQueen for his next big race!
All five shorts will be released on Disney+ on Wednesday, 4th September 2024.
Are You Sure?!
Jimin and Jung Kook enjoy both a summer-time ocean and a snowy ski resort, allowing fans of the group — collectively known as ARMY — to get a behind-the-scenes look as the pair road trip together.
New episodes are being released each Thursday in September.
Ayla & the Mirrors
Ayla, a rich and spoiled girl, suffers a shock after losing her father and is left without memories. With no one to claim her, she arrives at the El Bosque shelter. There she meets Inés and The Mirrors, a dance group. She also discovers a surprising ability: hearing the feelings of others through musical visions. Her aunt Esmeralda keeps a close eye on her to make sure the girl is not a threat to her newly inherited fortune.
This new Latin American original series arrives on Disney+ on Friday, 27th September 2024
L-Pop
Film student Pau is making a documentary about her sister Andrea, a K-pop fan; Andrea has a dream that she keeps secret: she wants to be a singer and dedicate her life to music.

Only Murders In The Building – Season 4
In season four of “Only Murders in the Building”, our amateur podcasting trio wrestles with the shocking events at the end of season three surrounding Charles’ stunt double & friend Sazz Pataki. Questioning whether she or Charles was the intended victim, their investigation leads them all the way to Los Angeles where a Hollywood studio is readying a film about the Only Murders podcast. As Charles, Oliver & Mabel race back to New York, they embark on an even more epic journey — traversing their building’s courtyard to delve into the twisted lives of the Arconia’s West Tower residents.

Child Star
“Child Star” explores the highs and lows of growing up in the spotlight through the lens of some of the world’s most well-known former child stars. Through celebrity interviews, verite scenes, and archival footage, this film deconstructs the stages of earlier stardom and looks at the entertainment system over the last century. Lovato sits down with iconic former child stars such as Drew Barrymore, Kenan Thompson, Christina Ricci, Raven-Symoné, JoJo Siwa, Alyson Stoner, and more, to reflect on their personal experiences working in the entertainment industry in never-before-heard stories. Together they take a look at the next generation of child actors and how to move forward in an ever-changing landscape. The film will mark Demi Lovato’s directorial debut with Nicola Marsh co-directing with OBB Pictures, SB Films, and DLG producing.

The Judge From Hell
Kang Bit-Na (Park Shin-Hye) is an elite judge with a beautiful appearance, but she is actually a demon. Her mission as a demon is to kill evil people who lead other people to their deaths and don’t reflect on their actions and are unforgiven for their actions. She sends these people to Hell afterwards. One day, Kang Bit-Na meets Han Da-On (Kim Jae-Young). He has a friendly and gentle personality. As a detective, his mind is sharp and he has a keen sense of observation. But, internally, he carries pain in his mind that nobody knows about. After Kang Bit-Na and Han Da-On meet with each other, their lives change greatly.

Frank Cooper, an actor spiraling with distractions, meets Mali Waters, a sports agent living for the present. Drawn together at the worst possible moment, as Mali faces her mortality, they must learn to love and live in the moment.

Little Miss Innocent
In 2017, Kaitlyn Conley, a polite and well-liked young woman from upstate New York was found guilty of killing Mary Yoder, her ex-boyfriend’s mother, sending shockwaves through the local community. ABC News Studios’ chilling three-part docuseries “Little Miss Innocent” tells the twisted story of this case through a series of shocking new interviews, including the victim’s family, Conley’s family, investigators and attorneys involved in Conley’s trial, and an exclusive interview with the incarcerated Conley herself.
This new documentary is going to be released on Saturday, 28th September 2024.
FX’s Social Studies
Lauren Greenfield returns to her roots with L.A. youth to explore social media’s effects. A character-driven series offering intimate access to the teens’ lives and phones, Social Studies promises an urgent journey into the coming of age of digital natives.
