The BBC and Disney have released a new character poster from the upcoming “Doctor Who” 60th Anniversary special called “The Star Beast”, the poster features the Wrarth Warriors.

The series is one of the most popular British shows ever and tells the story of The Doctor, an extraterrestrial being, who travels across time and space through a unique device called TARDIS. It travels to Earth and befriends humans who help it in its exploits.

“Doctor Who” returns in November 2023 with three special episodes with David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor to coincide with the 60th anniversary. Ncuti Gatwa’s first episode as the Fifteenth Doctor will air over the festive period.   The new specials will also star Miriam Margolyes and Yasmin Finney.

In this first 60th Anniversary special, The Doctor is caught in a fight to the death as a spaceship crash-lands on London. But as the battle wreaks havoc, destiny is converging on the Doctor’s old friend, Donna.

• Wild Blue Yonder – Saturday 2nd December 2023
• The Giggle – Saturday 9th December 2023

“Doctor Who: The Star Beast” will premiere on Saturday, 25th November 2023, exclusively on the BBC for the UK and Ireland, and on Disney+ outside of the UK and Ireland
