Disney has announced a new series from National Geographic called, “My Best Friend’s An Animal” is coming soon to Hulu and Disney+.

“My Best Friend’s An Animal” is an emotive, heart-warming series filmed worldwide. It tells the stories of humans who have unlikely, extraordinary friendships with wild animals, featuring six compelling stories per episode and filmed all over the world. The series proves that when it comes to friendship, shape, size, and even species are irrelevant. Respect, trust, and understanding can be found in the most surprising places.

Here are the details of the episodes in this series:

• “Sammi, Rose, and Casey” premieres Jan. 10 at 9/8c on National Geographic WILD
  Owners of a chicken, jumping spider, and mother octopus share their friendship stories.
• “Bandit, Max, and George” premieres Jan. 10 at 10/9c on National Geographic WILD
  True friendship is based on how one feels within and not on proximity or aesthetics.
• “Spud, Digger, and Tommy” premieres Jan. 17 at 9/8c on National Geographic WILD
  Nature and nurture instinctively go together when exploring close relationships among animals and their owners.
• “Toto, Banksi, and Lucy” premieres Jan. 17 at 10/9c on National Geographic WILD
  All animals need love in their own special way, even the animals that most are afraid of and wouldn’t think to go near.
• “Penny, Chunk, and Faith” premieres Jan. 24 at 9/8c on National Geographic WILD
  Some of the most meaningful friendships are unexpected, but still more intentional than one may know.
• “Jasper, Terry, and Gumbo” premieres Jan. 24 at 10/9c on National Geographic WILD
  Being different is what makes individuals unique, and these friendships are just that.

“My Best Friend’s An Animal” premieres on January 10th 2025 at 9/8c on National Geographic WILD and the entire series will be available to stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu in the United States.
