Disney has announced that a second batch of new episodes of the Disney Junior animated series, “Playdate with Winnie the Pooh”, will be coming to Disney+ in the United States on Wednesday 8th May 2024.

“Playdate with Winnie the Pooh” follows a young Pooh Bear as he enjoys playdates with his friends. Set in the exciting outdoors of the Hundred Acre Wood, these musical shorts emphasize collaborative play and the joy of spending time with others.

The four new episodes being released include:

  • Tigger and the Bouncy Hunt – Pooh Bear brings a bouncy ball to his playdate with Tigger. Tigger suggests a game called ‘Big Bounce’ and bounces the ball so hard that it almost gets stuck in the tree.
  • Piglet, Rabbit and the Picnic – Pooh Bear, Rabbit, and Piglet are having a picnic together. Rabbit brought avocados that she grew in her garden to share, but Piglet is nervous to try a food he hasn’t had before.
  • Bea and the Pillow Fort – Pooh Bear and Bea build a pillow fort together at their playdate. But oh no. When they finish building it, they find that it has no doors to go inside.
  • Bea, Kanga and the Blank Book – Kanga brings a blank book to his playdate. Kanga explains that they are gonna fill the book up with their own story. Together, Pooh Bear and Bea come up with a story.

These four episodes have recently aired on the Disney Junior channel.   This series has been executive-produced by Chris Hamilton and co-executive-produced by Elise Fachon.  It has been produced by Greg Chalekian and directed by Jojo Ramos Patrick.  The animation has been made by OddBot Inc., in association with Disney Junior

The first eleven episodes of “Playdate with Winnie the Pooh” are now available to stream on Disney+.
