If you haven’t switched to the new streaming bundle with Disney+, Hulu and Max, or perhaps want to check out some of the new originals on Max like “The Penguin” or “House Of Dragons” but haven’t subscribed yet, Warner Brothers Discovery has announced a new Black Friday deal for it’s streaming service.

From today, eligible subscribers can take advantage of Max’s 70% off Black Friday deal. The With Ads plan costs $2.99 per month for the first six months, down from the regular price of $9.99 per month.

Max is the premier streaming destination for exclusive original series, blockbuster movies, and documentaries. It also has a library of beloved TV programs from leading brands like HBO, Warner Bros., A24, Adult Swim, ID, and the DC Universe.

This limited-time deal is available now through Monday, 2nd December 2024, for both new and returning subscribers on Max.com, Apple, Google Play, Roku, Samsung, and Xumo, and for new Max customers only on Amazon Fire TV.

With an easy-to-use, personalized streaming experience, subscribers can explore all Max has to offer from can’t miss HBO Originals like “The Penguin,” “House of the Dragon,” “The White Lotus,” “The Last of Us,” and the new HBO Original “Dune: Prophecy,” to Max Originals like “The Sex Lives of College Girls” and recent Emmy-award winning “Hacks,” to Warner Bros. Pictures’ films like “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” (which debuts on December 6th), “TRAP,” both “Dune” films, as well as classics like “Friends” and “The Big Bang Theory,” and many more from Max’s library.

Families can also gather to stream their holiday favorites this year with Max’s “That Time of Year” collection featuring staples like “Elf,” “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” “A Christmas Story,” the “Harry Potter” films, as well as “The Polar Express,” which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Roger’s Take: Getting 70% off the ad-supported tier for 6 months is a great option, especially if you aren’t subscribed and want to check out a few of their major originals. Also, if you’ve got the Disney Streaming Bundle with ESPN+ and so couldn’t take advantage of getting Max cheaper, this is a good option. Unfortunately, it’s only available to new and returning customers.
