Marvel Studios is getting ready to create the third instalment in the “Deadpool” franchise, which will see Ryan Reynolds return as the “Merc With A Mouth” and Hugh Jackman, returning as Wolverine. The film will also star Emma Corrin (The Crown).

According to Deadline, Matthew Macfadyen has joined the cast of the upcoming third film. It’s unknown what character he will be playing. Matthew can currently be seen in the fourth season of the HBO hit, “Succession” and has also previously starred in Disney’s “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” and “Ripper Street”.

Shawn Levy is going to be directing “Deadpool 3”, which is being written by Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will be a producer on the film, along with Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds.

“Deadpool 3” is scheduled to begin filming later this year and is due to be released first in cinemas on November 8th, 2024. It will be the first rated-R film from Marvel Studios. The first film was the top-grossing R-rated film ever. The first two “Deadpool” films, along with “Logan”, are available to stream now on Disney+.
