Marvel’s “Vision Quest” Disney+ Release Window Revealed
One of the many Marvel Studios projects in development for Disney+ right now is a new spin-off of the popular series, “WandaVision”, which will see Paul Bettany return as Vision, in a show called “Vision Quest”.
According to the official Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) directory, “Vision Quest” is listed with a release window of the 2024/2025 season. The new show is going to be written by Jac Schaeffer, who is also the executive producer and showrunner of the project.
Jac Schaeffer was the showrunner and executive producer on “WandaVision” and is also doing the same duties on another “WandaVision” spin-off, “Agatha: Coven Of Chaos”, which is currently filming now.
“Vision Quest” is listed as a drama, and some other writers for the upcoming Disney+ show have been revealed, which include Megan McDonnell and Peter Cameron, who also both worked on “WandaVision”. In addition to Eileen Shim, who has previously worked on “House of the Dragon”.
The writer’s room for the series started last Fall. However, with the writer’s strike now underway, the development of the show will likely be delayed, and with Disney slowing down its Marvel release schedule, it’s likely “Vision Quest” could be later than the one currently listed with WGA. Officially Marvel hasn’t announced any details on “Vision Quest”.
Disney is currently filming “Wonder Man”, “Agatha: Coven Of Chaos” and “Daredevil: Born Again”. And with “Echo”, “Ironheart”, “Secret Invasion”, and the second season of “Loki”, already filmed and in post-production, there are going to be plenty of Marvel shows to watch over the next few years.
