One of this year’s biggest blockbusters is likely to be Marvel’s untitled third “Deadpool” film, which will see Ryan Reynolds return as the Merc with a Mouth, along with Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine.

Also starring in the film will be “The Crown‘s” Emma Corrin and “Succession‘s” Matthew Macfadyen, along with the returning Brianna Hildebrand, Shioli Kutsuna, Karan Soni, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Jennifer Garner, Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic.

This new film is also expected to feature many cameos from other characters from the different Marvel films and shows, since it’s going to be a multiverse adventure, that could likely bring the Mutants into the MCU.

Ryan Reynolds has taken to social media today to confirm that filming has now wrapped on the upcoming Marvel Studios film, “Deadpool 3”, which is due to arrive in cinemas on July 26th 2024.

The suit hides the blood. Also sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears. A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and @RealHughJackman… all under the stalwart leadership of @ShawnLevyDirect

I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn’t happen very often. See ya July 26th… ⚔️🥺⚔️

Filming on “Deadpool 3” started last summer in the UK; however, due to the actor’s and writer’s strikes, production was eventually closed down until late last year when it was able to resume once the strikes were resolved.

With over six months left until the film’s release, they’ll be likely working till the last minute on post-production such as visual effects to get the movie ready.  Though, it’s likely some of the post-production was done while filming was paused, to keep the film on schedule.

Originaly the film was going to be released theatrically in May 2024, but to enable them to finish work on the third “Deadpool” film, it was pushed back to July 26th, 2024.

While we wait for the third “Deadpool” film, you can watch the first two “Deadpool” films on Disney+ now.
