Marvel’s “Captain America: Brave New World” Stars Take To The Stage At SDCC
On Saturday evening, Marvel Studios held a major panel in Hall H of the San Diego Comic-Con, where it revealed lots of new details on the upcoming movie, “Captain America: Brave New World”, which is coming to cinemas on Valentine’s Day, before hitting Disney+ later in 2025.
The upcoming movie follows Sam Wilson, who, after meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, finds himself in the middle of an international incident. Sam must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.
During the panel, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige took the stage to tease the upcoming film and he was joined by the films stars Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Giancarlo Esposito, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford.
It was also revealed that Giancarlo Esposito will be playing the role of Sidewinder, who is the leader of the Serpent Society, which is an organization of snake-themed supervillains in the comics, but it might go through some creative changes in the movie.
Apparently, the movie is going to be more grounded in reality, like “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, though I do wonder how that’s going to work with a huge big red Hulk running around!
Fans in attendance at the panel were also treated to some new footage from the film, including a scene involving Harrison Ford transforming into the Red Hulk in front of the White House.
