Way back at Disney+ Day in 2021, a brand new Marvel series was announced called “Agatha: House Of Harkness.” This spin-off of the popular “WandaVision” series sees Kathryn Hahn reprising her role of Agatha Harkness, and it will be released in the Fall of 2024.

However, since then, the show has undergone several name changes. At the San Diego Comic-Con in 2019, Marvel Studios announced that the show was renamed “Agatha: Coven Of Chaos” and last year, the show underwent another name change to “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.”

There have even been theories that the show’s name changes are happening because it’s part of the marketing gimmick to represent the chaos of witchcraft, or it’s simply Marvel doing market research on the names and finding out they’re not quite clicking with audiences.

However, recently, Disney updated its official Disney+ preview page to rename the show simply “Agatha,” marking the fourth name for the show before it’s even been released.

Filming on “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries” took place last summer and managed to complete initial filming before the actor’s strike began.  Earlier this year, a single day of additional filming and reshooting some scenes took place to finish up filming since Marvel has a ” sunny outlook” around the show internally.

“Agatha” also stars Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata and Ali Ahn. The show will also star Emma Caulfield Ford, Maria Dizzia, Miles Gutierrez-Riley and Okwui Okpokwasili.  No plot details on the upcoming “Agatha” series have been revealed yet.

While we wait for the upcoming “Agatha” series, you can find “WandaVision” on Disney+ now.
