Marvel Reveals “X-Men” Cast During D23
During the Disney Entertainment Showcase, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took to the stage to reveal details on the upcoming reboot of the iconic “X-Men”.
Following her recent appearance in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, Sadie Sink took to the stage to confirm she is returning as Jean Grey and revealed some of the cast of the show:
“It is so wonderful to be here and to finally be able to talk about this character after months of speculation. We’re here to talk about the X-Men. Should we meet some more of the cast?”
The movie’s director Jake Schreier, along with Kevin and Sadie, then welcomed to the stage Kit Connor as Scott Summers (Cyclops), Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, and Maya Boyd as Storm.
Finally, Adam Driver crashed the panel with one final video surprise, where he revealed that he will be playing a very sinister figure named Nathaniel Milbury, saying:
“When Kevin told me to show up for X-Men, I assumed he meant on set. So instead of being there in California, I’m here at Pinewood [Studios] on this very lonely soundstage. Kevin and I have been talking for years about maybe joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And I think we finally found the perfect film at the perfect time. So I’m very excited to be playing Mag…. Nope. Even better. Nathaniel Milbury. So I’ll be right here, waiting for everybody to show up.”
More casting of the upcoming untitled “X-Men” movie will be revealed soon, and it will be coming to cinemas on May 5th 2028, and to Disney+ later in the year.
