Just ahead of the release of the second season of Marvel Studios “What If?”, Disney held a special screening of the sixth episode of the series, called “What If? Kahhori Reshaped The World?” in event in Montreal, Canada for Mohawk communities on Wednesday evening.

Season two of “What If…?” continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles.

The sixth episode tells the story of what happened after conquistadors lay siege to her tribe, a young Mohawk woman ventures into the Tesseract-powered waters of the legendary Forbidden Lake to recruit the forces of Sky World to help save her people.

The event was attended by writer Ryan Little, along with the voice actors Devery Jacobs and Jeremy White, plus special guests from Mohawk Nation.

Ryan Little said in a statement regarding the event:

“We spent four years working with historical and language experts from Kanien’kehá:ka, the Mohawk Nation, to craft this episode,” said Little. “They collaborated with us on every layer of the story from the characters’ names, personalities and costumes to the look of the civilization and the surrounding wilderness so that we could make every facet of this episode the most authentic depiction possible.”

The first season of “What If?” is available to stream on Disney+ now and the second season will debut on Friday 22nd December 2023 with a new episode being released every day for nine days.
