Disney has announced details on a brand new Disney+ Original “Made In Korea”, which is a new action thriller series from Woo Min-ho.

The upcoming series is set in the 1970s and follows the story of Kitae, a man driven by ambition for wealth and power, and prosecutor Geonyoung, who stands in Kitae’s way.

“Made In Korea” will star Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung as Kitae and Geonyoung. Hyun Bin has previously starred in “Secret Garden” and Jung Woo-sung has also starred in “Hunt”.

Also starring in the new series will be Won Ji-an, Seo Eun-soo, Cho Yeo-jeong, and Jung Sung-il. 

This will be the first series directed by Woo Min-ho, who has previously worked on films including “Inside Men” and  “The Man Standing Next”. This will be the second project that Woo has worked with Hyun, as they have worked together on the upcoming film, “Harbin”.

The upcoming series will be released in 2025 on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
