With Disney now owning Comcast’s stake in Hulu, we’re now starting to see some changes to programming as it has been revealed today that the original British version of “Love Island” is going to be moving from Hulu to Peacock, which is also the home to the US version.

This reality series features a stunning cast engaging in the ultimate game of love as they land in a sunshine paradise in search of passion and romance. Each of the glamorous members of the public will live like a celebrity in a luxury villa, but in order to stay there, they will have to win over not only each other’s hearts but also the hearts of the public.

In the latest season, “Love Island” returns to South Africa for the first “Love Island: All Stars” series, which brings back some familiar faces, who venture back into TV’s most talked about Villa for a second chance at finding love.   The series features Anton Danyluk, Arabella Chi, Callum Jones, Chris Taylor, Georgia Harrison, Georgia Steel, Hannah Elizabeth, Josh Ritchie, Kaz Kamwi, Liberty Poole, Mitchel Taylor, Molly Smith, Sophie Piper, Toby Aromolaran, Tom Clare, Tyler Cruickshank, Demi Jones, Luke Morrison and Jake Cornish.

Hulu still currently has the previous ten seasons of the British version; however, they aren’t available on Hulu On Disney+.

The upcoming season, “Love Island: All Stars”, will launch on Peacock in the United States on Monday, 29th January 2024, with the first three episodes, with new episodes being released six days a week.

“Love Island” is produced by ITV Studios and presented by Maya Jama.  Executive producers include Mike Spencer, Sophie Bush, Lewis Evans, Oliver Head, Justin Saculles and Martin Oxley.

With Comcast no longer owning part of Hulu, it will no doubt be looking to boost its own streaming service, Peacock, with more shows and, having had access to viewing data from Hulu for the last ten seasons, decided it wanted the show.
