“Letterkenny” To End After 12 Seasons
Crave Media has announced that the hit series “Lennykenny,” is coming to an end with the upcoming twelfth season. The final season will be released on Crave in Canada on Christmas Day, December 25th 2023 and will be available to stream on Hulu the next day on December 26th 2023.
The series is about the residents of Letterkenny, who belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding over seemingly trivial matters that often end with someone getting their ass kicked. In Season 11, the small town contends with the best chip flavors, lost dogs, an influencer invasion, Skid business, a mystery at the Church Bake Sale, unwanted guests at the beer league, and the Degens stirring up trouble. And that’s just for starters.
“Lennykenny” is the first-ever original series, and it premiered in 2016 as a breakout hit and quickly solidified a loyal fanbase. The series continues to be a top performer on Crave, and, overall, has been the most-streamed Canadian show on the platform for the past several years. The series is based on the internet sensation Letterkenny Problems, a five-part series of shorts, which to date has garnered more than 21 million views. In Season 12, the small town contends with a comedy night at Modean’s, a country music hit, the Degens’ bad influence, a new nightclub, and an encore at the Ag Hall. And that’s just for starters.
