Developing on the third “Sister Act” for Disney+ is currently underway and will see Whoopi Goldberg return as Deloris. Tyler Perry is also involved in creating the film.

Recently, Keke Palmer, who is set to star in the upcoming animated Disney+ Original series “The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder”, appeared on “The View” to discuss her new book series “Southern Belle Insults”.

During the conversation, Keke Palmer asked Whoopi Goldberg a direct question about appearing in the film:

“Now Whoopi, I gotta shoot my shot, like I did with Issa [Rae for a role in Insecure] a little bit ago. I heard that Tyler Perry is doing ‘Sister Act 3’ and I just want you to know I’m available for the job. Any job. I mean, you ain’t got to say nothing now, you know, I’ll send you an email or something. Just let know if you need me.”

Whoopi Goldberg didn’t hold back in her response, saying:

“I already brought it up”

It still isn’t confirmed that Keke Palmer will be appearing in “Sister Act 3”, but it does look promising and since she is working on multiple Disney+ projects right now already, she’s more likely to be making an appearance in “Sister Act 3”.
