Kate Dickie To Star In Marvel’s “Loki” Season 2
Filming has been underway for most of this year on the second season of the Marvel Studios Disney+ original series, “Loki”.
In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki, Tom Hiddleston resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame”, when he lands in trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) after absconding with the Tesseract.
The second season will also star Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong and Rafael Casal.
According to Deadline, Kate Dickie has joined the cast of the second season. No character details have been revealed, which isn’t uncommon for Marvel projects, but it’s being reported that she will be playing a villain in the second season.
Kate Dickie has previously starred in “Game Of Thrones”, “One Of Us”, “Peaky Blinders”, “The Northman”, and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”.
Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead direct and executive produce Season 2. Eric Martin is head writer and executive produces, along with Tom Hiddleston and Michael Waldron.
The first season of “Loki” is available to stream on Disney+ now and the second season is coming to the streaming platform in the summer of 2023.
