Following on from the events of the Disney+ series, “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier”,  Marvel Studios is developing a new movie, “Captain America 4”.

Deadline is reporting that Julius Onah will be directing the upcoming “Captain America 4” film.  Onah has previously directed “The Cloverfield Paradox” and “Luce”.

No plot details have yet been revealed for the upcoming film, nor has any production date been disclosed. However, it’s expected that Anthony Mackie will be returning as Sam Wilson, who took over the mantle of Captain America in the Disney+ series.

The script for the film has been written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, who also were writers on the “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” Disney+ series.

Disney hasn’t officially announced “Captain America 4”, but it’s likely to be done at either San Diego Comic-Con or the D23 Expo, which takes place this summer.

“The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” is available to stream now on Disney+.
