Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming comedy special, “Jim Gaffigan: The Skinny”, which is the first to arrive as part of a brand new stand-up comedy brand, Hularious.

Considered one of the most prolific comedians working today, 7 time Grammy nominee Jim Gaffigan provides the skinny on everything from appetite suppressants to raising teenagers in his 11th comedy special. Jim Gaffigan weighs in on everything from teenagers to brunch to weight-loss medication—but he’s never light on laughs.

This new comedy special will be released just in time for Thanksgiving on November 22nd on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.

A new comedy special will be released each month and so far, Disney has signed up Bill Burr, Chris Distefano, Jim Gaffigan, Ilana Glazer, Andrew Santino, Jessica Kirson, Matteo Lane, Sebastian Maniscalco, Atsuko Okatsuka and Roy Wood Jr.

Roger’s Take: I’m looking forward to the launch of this new stand-up comedy brand as I feel this is a perfect area for Disney to expand into, since they are easy and cheap to make, while also entertaining (though they should add some British acts to their lineup!). I’ve not see Jim’s standup rountine before, so I’m gonna be happy to give this a whirl.
