With filming currently underway on the second season of the original drama series, “Tell Me Lies”, more casting news has been revealed by Deadline.

“Tell Me Lies” is a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of 8 years. When Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco meet at college, they are at that formative age when seemingly mundane choices lead the way to irrevocable consequences. Although their relationship begins like any typical campus romance, they quickly fall into an addictive entanglement that will permanently alter not only their lives, but the lives of everyone around them.

The series stars Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Catherine Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Benjamin Wadsworth, Thomas Doherty, Alicia Crowder and Tom Ellis.

Also joining the cast in the second season will be Jacob Rodriguez and Katherine Hughes, who will be in recurring roles.

Jacob Rodriguez will be playing the role of Chris, Lydia’s good-looking brother (Natalee Linez), who is excited about attending Baird. He’s friendly, good-natured and takes an interest in Pippa (Sonia Mena). Jacob has previously starred in “Attaway General”.

And Katherine Hughes will play the role of Molly, a confident, upfront friend of Diana’s (Alicia Crowder), who takes an interest in one of the lead boys. Katherine has previously starred “Me, Earl, & The Dying Girl”, “My Dead Ex” and “Kingdom”.

This series is produced by 20th Television. Meaghan Oppenheimer serves as executive producer & showrunner. Emma Roberts, Karah Preiss and Matt Matruski executive produce under their Belletrist Productions banner, Laura Lewis, and Stephanie Noonan executive produce for Rebelle Media. Shannon Gibson and Sam Schlaifer are executive producers for Vice Media’s Refinery29. Jonathan Levine also serves as executive producer. Adapted from Carola Lovering’s novel of the same name, Lovering will serve as a consulting producer.

The first season of “Tell Me Lies” is available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
