After the huge success of the live-action “Transformers” movies, the next installment in the franchise is going back to its roots with a brand new animated series, set before the events of the previous movies and shows.

“Transformers: One” is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once, they were friends who bonded like brothers and forever changed the fate of Cybertron.

This is the first-ever fully CG-animated “Transformers” movie and features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi with Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm.

When Is “Transformers: One” Released?

“Transformers: One” will be released exclusively in cinemas in the United States, Canada and Australia on September 20th, 2024. The film will be released in cinemas in the UK on October 11th 2024

When Will “Transformers: One” Be On Disney+?

Unfortunately, for Disney+ subscribers, “Transformers: One” has been created and distributed by Paramount, so it will not be available to Disney+ subscribers.

Instead, once it’s finished its theatrical release and has been available for purchase on digital platforms for a few months, it’ll be heading to Paramount+ in the United States and in many other countries around the world.
