This coming Fall, Disney is releasing, “Dancing With The Stars,” is returning for its thirty-second season and will be hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, the hit series pairs celebrities with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.

The new season will be broadcast live on Disney+ in the United States and Canada, with the show once again returning to the ABC linear channel.  Plus, new episodes will be available the next day on Hulu.

While the last season of “Dancing With The Stars” was only shown on Disney+ in the US and Canada, it’s possible that the new season could potentially be released globally on Disney+ as there is now a holding page for the show available within the streaming service for countries outside the US, including in the UK.

What’s interesting about the UK holding page, is that it specifically says, “Season 32 Coming To Disney+ This Autumn”, which isn’t usually a term used in the US or Canada.  Usually, when a film or show isn’t available within a specific region, there is an error message saying it’s unavailable.  Nor are any episodes available from the last season.  The holding page is also showing up in other countries, including Australia, Brazil and Italy, though with a different “coming soon” message.

This holding page could very easily be simply a mistake, and “Dancing With The Stars” will continue to only be available on Disney+ in the US and Canada. But it also wouldn’t be a surprise to see Disney and the BBC (who make “Dancing With The Stars” coming to an agreement on allowing this series to be shown outside the US and Canada, especially after their deal for the new “Doctor Who” series.

While generally, “Dancing With The Stars” isn’t broadcast in the UK, since it’s likely that the BBC doesn’t want it to compete with the original British version, “Strictly Come Dancing”, which airs during the same time period, previous seasons have aired on other networks in the UK in the past.   Showing the series internationally, would help Disney+ get more content and provide the BBC with additional income, so it’s a win-win!

Disney hasn’t officially announced that “Dancing With The Stars” will be launching on Disney+ outside of the US and Canada, but the odds have possibly increased, but once again, this holding page could just be an error.

The new season of “Dancing With The Stars”, is coming to Disney+ in Canada and the United States this Fall and the previous season is still available to stream now!
