Iris Apatow & Costa D’Angelo Join “Tell Me Lies” Season 3 Cast
Late last year, Disney officially announced that it has renewed the popular series, “Tell Me Lies” for a third season,
The series follows a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of 8 years. When Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco meet at college, they are at that formative age when seemingly mundane choices lead the way to irrevocable consequences. Although their relationship begins like any typical campus romance, they quickly fall into an addictive entanglement that will permanently alter not only their lives, but the lives of everyone around them.
“Tell Me Lies” stars Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder, and Tom Ellis. Thomas Doherty is also going to star in the show as a recurring guest star.
It’s also been revealed that Iris Apatow has joined the cast and will be playing the role of Amanda, a bubbly but fragile college freshman keeping a big secret
Iris Apatow has previously starred in Netflix’s “Unstable and Love” and “Ballerina Overdrive”. She has also starred “Sausage Party”, “This Is 40”, “Funny People”, and “Knocked Up”.
Costa D’Angelo has also joined the cast of the third season and will be playing the role of Alex, a psychology grad student and part-time drug dealer who has a complicated past with Bree. Although he initially comes off as aloof and borderline rude, it quickly becomes clear that there are hidden depths to him.
He has previously staarred in Netflix’s “East of Eden” and will soon be seen in “The Rising” and “The Deb”.
Meaghan Oppenheimer serves as executive producer & showrunner. Emma Roberts, co-founder Karah Preiss and Matt Matruski executive produce under their Belletrist banner, Laura Lewis and Stephanie Noonan executive produce for Rebelle Media. Shannon Gibson and Sam Schlaifer also serve as executive producers. Adapted from Carola Lovering’s novel of the same name, Lovering serves as a consulting producer. The original series is produced by 20th Television.
Currently, not details have been revealed on when the third season will be filmed or released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
