“Ice Age: Boiling Point” Teaser Trailer Released

Disney has released a teaser trailer for the next instalment in the iconic “Ice Age” franchise, called “Ice Age: Boiling Point”, which will be coming to cinemas and Disney+ in 2027.

The teaser trailer shows Manny (voice of Ray Romano), Diego (voice of Denis Leary), Sid (voice of John Leguizamo), Buck (voice of Simon Pegg) and Ellie (voice of Queen Latifah) – along with acorn-obsessed Scrat, Crash, Eddie and Baby Scrat – as they blast out of a volcano and straight into a dinosaur-and-lava-filled madcap adventure to visit never-before-seen corners of the treacherous Lost World.

Check out the teaser trailer below:

The new film is directed by John Donkin (“The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild”) and produced by Lori Forte (“Ice Age,” “Ice Age: Collision Course”).

“Ice Age: Boiling Point” will be released in cinemas on February 5th, 2027 and will be coming to Disney+ a few months later.  The previous “Ice Age” movies are also available to stream now on Disney+.

Roger’s Take: With this teaser trailer coming out over six months ahead of the release of the film, it doesn’t give too much away. The teaser trailer is very generic, giving fans confirmation that all the main characters are returning, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this scene doesn’t actually appear in the movie itself. I’m a big fan of the franchise and will be checking it out, though I’ll probably wait for the streaming release on Disney+ instead of going to the cinema.
