Following the huge success of the launch of the general entertainment hub, Star, on Disney+ internationally in 2021, today, Hulu On Disney+ launched in the United States for Disney Streaming Bundle subscribers, providing a new hub full of great content from Disney’s own studios like FX, 20th Century Studios, ABC and more, all without leaving Disney+.

The launch is a Beta version of the Hulu On Disney+ experience, as the full version will launch in March 2024.  Disney says this is to allow Disney more time to understand the consumer’s needs and also give parents time to set up parental controls to ensure everyone in their household is watching what’s appropriate for them.

The Beta version also lacks many features, such as bringing over users’ existing watchlists from Hulu and fully integrating the content into Disney+ on the homepage.

With the launch of Hulu On Disney+, I wanted to share my first tour around Hulu on Disney+, to see what’s available and how it differs from Disney+ internationally.
