Hulu Greenlights New Mindy Kaling Comedy Series “Not Suitable For Work”

Disney’s Hulu has greenlighted a brand new comedy series called “Not Suitable For Work”, which had previously gone by the working title of “Murray Hill”.

The show follows five work-obsessed twenty-somethings striving for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness in Manhattan’s most glamorous neighbourhood, Murray Hill.

It has been created by Mindy Kaling, who is also an executive producer on the show and she has an overall deal with Warner Brothers Television as part of her Kaling International banner. Also working on the series was Charlie Grandy, who is a showrunner and executive producer. Howard Klein from 3 Arts Entertainment is also an executive producer.

Mindy has previously worked with Disney on the Pixar film, “Inside Out” and the Hulu comedy series, “The Mindy Project” and “Four Weddings and a Funeral.”

No other details on this upcoming series have been revealed, such as who will be starring in the show, when it will begin filming or when it’ll be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.

According to Variety, Warner Brothers Television is the studio behind the series, so it’s unclear if the show will also be released internationally on Disney+ like “Abbott Elementary”.
