Disney is developing a brand-new half-hour docu-comedy series for Hulu/Disney+ called “Stassi Says”, which is going to star Stassi Schroeder, who has previously starred in the hit reality series, “Vanderpump Rules”.

The official description for the series says, “Endlessly relatable, utterly hysterical, and questionably sane, Stassi is the anchor of a fresh ensemble of comedic and chaotic characters who are dealing with identity crises and major life crossroads of their own — and Stassi’s the one who has to keep them all afloat,”

The upcoming series is being created by Stassi, along with former “Vanderpump Rules” producers Erin Foye and Jenna Rosenfeld and will be executive-produced by Scout Productions along with Foye, Rosenfeld, and Schroeder.

This is the second project to involve Stassi Schroeder coming to Disney’s streaming services, as it was revealed earlier today that Stassi will also be joining the cast of the second season of “Vanderpump Villa”.

Roger’s Take: Disney has had some success with documentary/reality series like “The Kardashians”, “The D’Amelio Show” and “Vanderpump Villa”, so it makes sense for Disney to take popular reality stars and create different types of content for audiences.   It might not appeal to everyone, but there is certainly a market for these shows.
