Earlier this week, Disney announced that all eight seasons of the classic sitcom, “Home Improvement”, would be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Wednesday, 19th April 2023. However, I’ve been informed that, unfortunately, the release date has changed, and while there is currently no release date, Disney did confirm the series would arrive later this year on the official Disney+ social media account.

Power tools, parenting and the modern male mystique are the comic building blocks for “home improvement,” a heartfelt and funny family comedy dealing with the questions today’s men have about ‘being men.’

“Home Improvement” debuted in 1991 and ran for over 200 episodes across eight seasons.  It was an extremely popular show during the nineties and is one of the most requested shows that fans have wanted to see on Disney+ since it launched.

The series stars Pamela Anderson, Tim Allen, William O’Leary, Zachery Ty Bryan, Debbe Dunning, Taran Noah Smith, Earl Hindman, Patricia Richardson, Richard Karn, and Jonathan Taylor Thomas.

While this delay isn’t great for Disney+ subscribers in the UK, hopefully, when the series does get released, it will be made available to fans around the world, similar to how the classic series, “Doogie Howser MD”, was released earlier this month.
