“Home Alone” & “The Santa Clauses” Keep Disney+ In The Nielsen Streaming Chart
Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States for the week of 5th December 2022 through to 11th December 2022. There are four different charts, Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies and a combined total chart.
Unsurprisingly, Christmas-themed content drew in more viewers on Disney+ in early December, with the classic “Home Alone” film being extremely popular, along with the new series, “The Santa Clauses”. Once again, “Willow” failed to pull in viewers, with the show not making the original trending list, which no doubt disappointed Lucasfilm.
“Bluey” continues to be a huge draw for younger audiences for Disney+, and unfortunately, it looks like Disenchanted”, completely failed to pull in audiences just two weeks after its release.
Disney’s shows made by ABC, such as “Grey’s Anatomy”, continue to pull in viewers on Netflix. These shows are available on Disney+ internationally, including “NCIS” in the UK.
