Hannah Berner To Release New “Hularious” Comedy Special On Hulu & Disney+
Disney has announced details on one of its upcoming “Hularious” comedy specials, which will be coming to Hulu and Disney+ later this year.
The comedy special will feature Hannah Berner, though no title or synopsis for this comedy special has been revealed. The comedian also took to social media to confirm the news.
Hannah Berner is a stand-up comedian and New York Times Best-Selling author known for her relatable humour and charismatic crowd work. She rose to prominence with her debut comedy special “We Ride at Dawn” which premiered at #2 on Netflix.
Berner hosts two hit podcasts, Giggly Squad alongside Paige DeSorbo and Berner Phone with Des Bishop, which have garnered over 100 million combined downloads. After a sold-out national tour, Berner and DeSorbo recently released their book “How to Giggle: A Guide to Taking Life Less Seriously” via Simon and Schuster, which debuted at #2 on the New York Times Best Seller list.
Her video series, Han on the Street, has earned over 350 million views. In addition to her regular appearances in the New York comedy scene, Berner was included in Variety’s 2024 “The New Power of New York” list, The Hollywood Reporter’s 2024 “The Creator A-List” and Variety’s 2023 “Top 10 Comics to Watch”. She is a Brooklyn native and resides in New York City with her cat Butter.
The comedian is currently on tour with her “None Of My Business” Tour, which is taking place at locations across the United States and Canada over the winter. So it’s likely one of these shows, could potentially be filmed for the special.
This new special will be directed by Jeff Tomsic and produced by Rotten Science. Berner will serve as an executive producer along with Matthew Vaughan via Rotten Science and Tomsic.
Hannah’s comedy special will be released later this year on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world. Previous Hularious specials feature comedians such as Jim Gaffigan, Ilana Glazer, Roy Wood Jr., Chris Distefano, Bill Burr, Jessica Kirson, Matteo Lane, Atsuko Okatsuka, Zarna Garg, Ralph Barbosa, Andrew Santino, Frankie Quiñones, Sebastian Maniscalco and Kumail Nanjiani.
