Late last year, two of ABC’s most popular shows, “Grey’s Anatomy” and its spinoff show, “Station 19”, moved to Disney+ in the UK and Ireland, after years of being broadcast on Sky.   After about six weeks, the shows then went on their traditional mid-season break, and Disney has announced that both shows will be returning on Disney+ from Wednesday, 8th March 2023, with a new episode being released weekly.

The episodes will be just a couple of weeks behind the US schedule.  Sky used to make subscribers wait a little longer to see new episodes, because it would hold onto the first batch of episodes until it could run the entire season in one go, since British viewers traditionally aren’t used to mid-season breaks in shows.

In the next episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” from season nineteen, on Meredith’s last day at Grey Sloan, the doctors plan a goodbye surprise, and Nick confronts her about the future of their relationship. The interns compete to scrub in on a groundbreaking procedure, and Richard asks Teddy an important question.

In the next episode of “Station 19” from season nine, after a terrifying lightning strike in the mid-season finale, the Station 19 crew works overtime to extinguish the fire at Meredith Grey’s home. Meanwhile, Maya is rushed to Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital due to a medical emergency.

The previous eighteen seasons of “Grey’s Anatomy” are available to stream on Disney+, along with the first five seasons of “Station 19”.
