FX’s “Shōgun” Soundtrack Out Now
Just ahead of the release of the new FX limited series, “Shōgun”, Hollywood Records has released the soundtrack to the series on digital platforms including Amazon, Spotify and Apple.
Based on James Clavell’s novel, FX’s “Shōgun” is set in Japan in the year 1600 at the dawn of a century-defining civil war. Lord Yoshii Toranaga is fighting for his life as his enemies on the Council of Regents unite against him, when a mysterious European ship is found marooned in a nearby fishing village.
This new album features original music that has been composed by Atticus Ross, Leopold Ross and Nick Chuba. Atticus Ross has previously worked on “The Social Network, Soul” and “Watchmen”. Leopold Ross has recently worked on the Apple TV+, “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” and “The Book of Eli”. And Nick Chuba has previously worked on “The Girl from Plainville” and “Dr. Death”.

The 10-episode limited series will premiere on February 27th 2024 on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in all other territories. The premiere will include the first two episodes, followed by a new episode each week.
