To celebrate Alien Day, Disney has released a new poster and teaser trailer for the upcoming Original series, FX’s “Alien: Earth,” which has been created by Noah Hawley, who previously created the FX series, “Fargo” and “Legion”.  

When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in FX’s highly anticipated TV series “Alien: Earth” from creator Noah Hawley.

“Alien: Earth” is set in 2120 when five corporations – Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold – wield the power of nations, and proprietary advancements in technology provide the promise of a new tomorrow.

Led by Sydney Chandler, the series showcases an expansive international cast, which includes Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille and Moe Bar-El.

The series is set to stream exclusively on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ in 2025 around the world.

Roger’s Take:  Releasing a sneak peek at the upcoming FX series on Alien Day is a perfect marketing idea and this teaser only continues to excite my interest in the show, which I think is going to be one of the biggest hits of the year, similar to how “Shogun” dominated the conversation last year.
