Earlier this month at the D23 Brazil event, Disney showed a brand new teaser trailer for the upcoming FX series, “Alien: Earth”, which will be coming out in the summer of 2025 on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world including in the UK, Australia and Canada.

Today, Disney has released a new poster and teaser trailer to everyone, giving us our first look at the new series from creator Noah Hawley. “

When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in the sci-fi horror series “Alien: Earth.” As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors among the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined. With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it.

Check out the “Alien: Earth” teaser trailer below:

Lead by Sydney Chandler, the series showcases an expansive international cast which includes Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille and Moe Bar-El.

This is the latest instalment in the “Alien” franchise, following this year’s big blockbuster hit, “Alien: Romulus”, and building on the established 20th Century Studios franchise.

Roger’s Take:  While the teaser trailer is very vague, it does give a good indication that things are going to be a little different with the creatures arriving on Earth.  I’m sure this new show is going to be a huge hit for Disney+ and Hulu, especially as it’s coming from FX, who are behind some of the best shows like “Shogun” and “Fargo”.
