Disney has announced that four new episodes of the second season of the Disney Channel animated series, “The Ghost and Molly McGee”, is coming to Disney+ in the United States on Wednesday, 15th November 2023.

The animated buddy-comedy follows tween optimist Molly (voiced by Ashly Burch), who lives to make the world a better place, and grumpy ghost Scratch (voiced by Dana Snyder), whose job is to spread misery. When one of Scratch’s curses backfires, he finds himself forever bound to Molly.

The four new episodes include:

  • Welcome to Necrocomic-Con/Fit to Print – Ollie struggles to have the difficult conversation with his parents and reveal that he is friends with a ghost; when the school newspaper is in danger of shutting down, Molly goes on a mission to save it.

  • Smile Valley Farm/The Grand Gesture – When Scratch discovers he loves a game he stubbornly refused to try, he must try to hide his growing obsession; June and Darryl accidentally transform Scratch’s ectoplasm into a living being.

  • The Many Lives of Scratch/Alaka-Sham! – Scratch’s family and friends imagine what his life might have been; Darryl and Scratch run a magic show scheme and are challenged to a magic-off by a rival magician.

  • F.o.n.a.a.!/Game On – Scratch uses a curse to take away Molly’s fear; when Principal O’Connor makes Darryl join a team sport, Darryl creates an esports team.

One of these new episodes is going to premiere on the Disney Channel every Saturday from October 28th 2023,  so it won’t be too long to wait for these to be batch-dropped onto Disney+. In fact, the fourth episode will be available a few days before the Disney Channel premiere!

Rob Cantor (“Tally Hall”) is series songwriter, Madison Bateman (“DuckTales”) is story editor, and Britta Reitman (“Star vs. The Forces of Evil”) is producer.

The first season, along with the first 14 episodes of the second season of “The Ghost And Molly McGee” are available to stream now on Disney+.
